Don’t think just about the piece you would like to replace. Think about how you would like your room to look when you are finished. What will be its focal points? Do you have non-negotiables like an antique that must be incorporated or windows and doors that frame the room? Will your lighting plan illuminate your favorite features and create a warm atmosphere for relaxing or working? Take a moment to brainstorm – what treasures will you keep, what do you want to change, and what atmosphere do you want to create? Keep functionality in mind as you lean into aesthetics. 

We have many styles to enable you to make your room match your hopes. Scan through our collections and find a style that resonates with you.

Once you have decided on a style, your next decision is the wood. What should you know?

1. The prominence of wood grain changes the visual impact of your piece. Oak and hickory pieces generally have strikingly dark grains. Maples and cherries are more subtle.
2. Think about hardness and lifestyle. For hard use items, choose a harder wood to reduce dents and scratches. For lower wear areas, a finer grain and softer wood can be appropriate.
3. Although the non-rustic woods deliver fewer surprises like a knot in the center of your table, rustic variations increase the unique character of your piece and decrease the price. See Wood characteristics for more detail.

After choosing your wood, you can pick your color or stain. Choosing your stain color via a cell phone or computer monitor can only get you so close. If you are matching to another piece in your room, it is best to purchase our three-sample pack to insure a close match.

• In-home delivery with assembly (except cribs): $429. Have your furniture delivered directly to your room and expertly assembled by our professional team. This service saves you time and effort.
• Curbside delivery: $249. This option gets your furniture to your doorstep. Please note: Curbside delivery requires a location suitable for unloading bulky items, such as a roomy garage or a concrete pad. You will be responsible for moving the furniture inside your home.
• Local Delivery (around Plain City, Ohio): Live near our store? We offer special in-home delivery rates for locations inside of Ohio.

  • Within 25 miles: $99
  • Within 50 miles: $119
  • More than 50 miles: $1.69 / mile (charge is only one way)

Lock in your order with a 30% credit card deposit or use financing.

If you order off our website, we will contact you when your order is completed and ready for shipping. Then we will request the balance before we ship the order to you.

If you order from our store in Plain City, you can pay your balance by credit card, check, or cash upon pickup or delivery.

Our Amish craftsmen carefully make each piece to ensure it’s just what you ordered. We have estimated the build time for each piece on our item pages. Please understand that we can only provide an estimated build time and not a guaranteed build time. Commonly customers wait between 2 to 3.5 months to receive their furniture.

When your furniture is completed, we will reach out to you to schedule the best time to deliver your pieces or to let you know your pieces are ready to be picked up. If shipping west of the Mississippi, please allow several extra weeks for delivery.
