Millwest started in 1994 as Miller’s Furniture, when Harold and Betty Miller, both raised on Amish farms in Kansas, converted a small mechanic shop in Plain City into a furniture store. The whole family pitched in, handling cleaning, deliveries, and customer service. They earned a reputation for exceptional quality even as they learned the furniture business from the ground up. Their son, Keith, spent 20 years abroad in poverty alleviation and coffee retail before returning with his wife Rhoda to continue the family’s dedication to quality furniture, outstanding service, and partnerships with Amish craftsmen from Ohio and Indiana.
