Porter Cellular PVC Pergola from Berlin Gardens

Porter Cellular PVC Pergola from Berlin Gardens

The Porter pairs the clean lines of a modern checkered-top pergola with the low upkeep of cellular PVC. Berlin Gardens builds every one to order at its shop in Berlin, Ohio, in the heart of Amish country. A pressure-treated frame wrapped in paintable cellular PVC sits on 8" × 8" posts, framing a patio with crisp, painted-millwork looks that shrug off the weather.

Standard Model Includes

• Pressure-treated frame wrapped in paintable cellular PVC
• 8" × 8" posts
• Modern checkered top design

Sizes & Customization

Sizes run from 10 to 24 feet, measured to the outside of the top. The cellular PVC wrap takes any paint color and wipes clean, so the pergola keeps a fresh, finished look without sanding or restaining. Add privacy walls, curtains, or a retractable Dia shade to control sun and seclusion; larger spans take additional posts.

Why You’ll Love It

A pergola earns its place by shaping a space rather than sealing it. It turns an open patio into a defined outdoor room while keeping it bright and connected to the yard. The slatted top throws striping shade that shifts through the day, carries string lights beautifully, and gives climbing vines somewhere to go. When you want more cover, a retractable Dia shade glides across to block the midday sun, then opens back up for the evening. It is the choice for homeowners who want real architecture and partial shade overhead without giving up the open sky.
