Urbana Vinyl Pergola from Berlin Gardens

Urbana Vinyl Pergola from Berlin Gardens

The Urbana is an open, airy pergola that defines a patio and filters the sun without closing it in. Berlin Gardens builds every one to order at its shop in Berlin, Ohio, in the heart of Amish country. Built on low-maintenance white vinyl posts with pressure-treated wood inserts for strength, it casts soft, shifting shade over a dining set, lounge, or hot tub while keeping the sky and breeze in view. Scrolled or classic end caps give the rafter tails a finished profile.

Standard Model Includes

• White vinyl with pressure-treated wood inserts
• 6" × 6" posts
• Scrolled or classic end caps

Sizes & Customization

Sizes run from 10 to 24 feet, measured to the outside of the top. The white vinyl exterior wipes clean and never needs painting, while pressure-treated wood inserts keep the structure rigid across longer spans. Add privacy walls, curtains, or a retractable Dia shade to dial in exactly how much sun and seclusion you want; larger spans take additional posts.

Why You’ll Love It

A pergola earns its place by shaping a space rather than sealing it. It turns an open patio into a defined outdoor room while keeping it bright and connected to the yard. The slatted top throws striping shade that shifts through the day, carries string lights beautifully, and gives climbing vines somewhere to go. When you want more cover, a retractable Dia shade glides across to block the midday sun, then opens back up for the evening. It is the choice for homeowners who want real architecture and partial shade overhead without giving up the open sky.
