Self-storing leaves on smooth gear slides make this extension table easy to expand when guests arrive. Solid hardwood construction and classic proportions suit both traditional and contemporary spaces, creating a versatile dining centerpiece built with authentic Amish craftsmanship to endure for generations. A foundation for a complete, cohesive Clanton dining room.Craftsmanship
The Amish Clanton Square Counter Height Table is benchmade by skilled Amish craftsmen using traditional woodworking techniques refined over generations. Each table begins with carefully selected solid hardwood, chosen for its exceptional grain character and long-term structural integrity. Amish woodworkers shape and fit each leg of the counter height base to precise tolerances, ensuring a stable, square stance throughout the life of the piece. The self-storing leaves are fitted with the same precision, so they align cleanly with the top every time the table is extended. Using methods such as mortise and tenon, tongue and groove, and dovetail joints — rather than butt joints and nails — to ensure decades of structural integrity. Every element of this Amish table reflects the meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality that defines genuine Amish craftsmanship.
Heirloom Quality
This isn't disposable furniture — it's an investment in your family's future. While mass-produced tables deteriorate and require replacement every few years, the Amish Clanton Square Counter Height Table's solid hardwood construction and traditional joinery ensure it will serve your family for generations. The hand-applied finish deepens with use and age, developing a warm character that makes every Clanton piece more distinguished over time. Consider the true cost: cheaply made tables replaced multiple times over twenty years versus one exceptional piece your grandchildren will inherit. The Amish Clanton Square Counter Height Table delivers enduring value that transcends its initial investment — this is furniture built to become a treasured family heirloom, serving your loved ones for decades of gatherings to come.

Product Specifications
Sample Size: 4½" × 4½" squareWood Species: Oak, Rustic QSWO, Rustic Cherry, Brown Maple, Sap Cherry, QSWO, Cherry, Elm, Hickory, Rustic Hickory, and Hard Maple
Finish: Your choice of stain, applied to the wood species you select
See It in Your Space
A wood stain sample lets you judge the exact wood and finish in the room where your furniture will live. Hold it against your wall paint or wallpaper in daylight and again under evening lamps, since warm and cool bulbs change how a stain reads. Set it beside your sofa fabric, rug, and curtains to see whether the undertones work together. Compare it with your floors, trim, and the wood pieces you already own. If you're mixing woods, look for a clear contrast rather than a near-match, and pair a bold grain like oak or hickory with a calmer one like maple or cherry. Think about hardware and metal finishes too. A few minutes with a sample in hand takes the guesswork out of a piece built to your order.Choosing a Sample
This standard sample covers the wood and stain options offered on most of our solid wood furniture. Each species brings its own character, from the ray fleck of quartersawn white oak to the bold grain contrast of hickory, and the same stain can look quite different from one wood to the next. Learn more on our Wood Characteristics page. Keep in mind that your custom sample is cut and stained to your order. Once it's processed, you should receive your samples in approximately two weeks.Because wood is a natural material and screens vary, colors can differ slightly from what you see online. Some variation between your sample and your finished piece should also be expected, as every board is unique and takes stain in its own way.
