Monticello Treated Wood Octagon Gazebo from Berlin Gardens

Monticello Treated Wood Octagon Gazebo from Berlin Gardens

The Monticello is a freestanding gazebo — a fully roofed, eight-sided retreat with its own railing and cupola, ready to become a destination anywhere in the yard. Berlin Gardens builds every one to order at its shop in Berlin, Ohio, in the heart of Amish country. Built from treated wood with an American-style railing and a cupola crown, it brings the look of colonial-era park architecture home to a private backyard.

Standard Model Includes

• Treated wood exterior
• Regular roof with cupola
• American-style railing
• Metal or asphalt shingle roofing

Sizes & Customization

The eight-sided design is offered in 10, 12, 14, and 16-foot diameters. Finish the treated wood in a stain such as Cedartone or Mocha, then tailor the build: upgrade to a two-tiered classic roof, add a vinyl or wood ceiling, and select a composite Azek floor in Kona, Slate Grey, or Brownstone, a wood floor, or no floor at all. A screen kit encloses the space, and roofing comes in 30-year architectural shingles or metal.

Why You’ll Love It

A gazebo is the structure you walk out to. Set apart from the house with its own railing, it becomes a true destination — a shaded spot for morning coffee, a screened refuge on a summer evening, or the centerpiece of a landscaped garden. The full roof keeps it comfortable in sun or a passing shower; add the screen kit and it turns into a bug-free outdoor room, or leave it open and it frames the view from every side. It is part shelter and part landmark.
