Amish Craftsmanship
Every piece in this collection is Amish-built in LaGrange, Indiana by a team of skilled craftsmen. What began in a garage in 1994 is now a second-generation family company that builds heirloom-quality bedroom furniture from solid, kiln-dried hardwood, chosen and finished so each piece can be handed down for generations. Drawers are dovetailed and finished inside and out, mirrors are framed in solid hardwood, and every dresser and chest meets the STURDY Act tip-over standard with a built-in drawer interlock. CARB 2-compliant materials keep the furniture free of harmful chemicals. It is honest, careful construction, and it is the same in every collection they build.
Why You'll Love It
Compact yet capable, the Canton Chest packs five drawers into a tidy 35½-inch width that fits smaller bedrooms and tight corners. Full inset drawer fronts, a simple accent arch, and minimal trim give this piece the traditional mission character shared across the Canton collection. Dovetailed drawers ride on zinc-plated full-extension slides, and a built-in drawer interlock meets the STURDY Act tip-over standard for peace of mind. Select from Rustic Hickory, Rustic Quartersawn White Oak, Oak, Brown Maple, or Sap Cherry, with black epoxy filling the knots on rustic species. Pair the chest with a matching nightstand and dresser for a complete bedroom.
Warranty
Millwest covers this piece against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the delivery date, so you can buy with confidence. Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper assembly or modification, "as-is" purchases, and commercial use fall outside that coverage. Because solid wood responds to its environment, keep indoor humidity in a stable range to protect the finish and joinery for the life of the piece. Should a question come up, Millwest customer service is a phone call away at (614) 873-1932, and the full terms are laid out on the Warranties page for anything you want to confirm before or after your purchase.
