Choosing a Sample

This standard sample covers the wood and stain options offered on most of our solid wood furniture. Each species brings its own character, from the ray fleck of quartersawn white oak to the bold grain contrast of hickory, and the same stain can look quite different from one wood to the next. Because wood is a natural material and screens vary, colors can differ slightly from what you see online. Some variation between your sample and your finished piece should also be expected, as every board is unique and takes stain in its own way.
