Monarch Rest Mattress: Swaps, Returns & Warranty

Being overwhelmed with complicated return policies isn’t on anyone’s wish list. We all want a simple process that lets us get back to our life. We want you to love your Monarch Rest mattress. If something isn’t right, you’re in the right place. Below you’ll find information for comfort trial swaps and returns (within 90 days) and warranty claims (defects or impressions). Within 90 Days — Comfort Trial Swaps & Returns If you’re within 90 days of purchase, you have two options. Contact us at [email protected] or (614) 873-1932 to get started.
  • Swap: Prefer a different mattress instead? For a $250 swap fee, we’ll bring your new mattress out and take the old one back at the same appointment. Please note: once you’ve swapped, the new mattress is not eligible for return.
  • Return: For a $250 return fee, we’ll arrange pickup and refund the full cost of the mattress. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
A few things to know before starting a swap or return:
  • Sleep on your mattress for at least 30 nights before deciding — most bodies need a few weeks to fully adjust to a new sleep surface.
  • Stained mattresses cannot be swapped or returned. We strongly recommend using a mattress protector from day one to safeguard your investment.
  • Contact us before your 90-day window closes to start the process.
After 90 Days — Warranty Claim If your mattress has developed an impression exceeding warranty specifications or has a manufacturing defect, you’re covered under Monarch Rest’s 20-year warranty. The process below helps us document and evaluate your claim so we can resolve it quickly. For complete coverage terms, exclusions, and support requirements, see the Monarch Rest™ Mattress & Foundation Limited Warranty (PDF).

Step 1: Contact us:

Request a free Impression Measuring Kit from our friendly staff and allow time for delivery.

Step 2: After receiving your Impression Kit, remove blankets, sheets, and all other covers and items from your mattress and open your kit.

Step 3: Over the bare mattress, hang the one weight over the edge and pull the string taut over the surface of the mattress and let the other weight hang off the opposite edge of the first weight. Make sure the string isn’t twisted or knotted. Double check to make sure the weights are hanging off the edges of the mattress.

Step 4: Use the wooden ruler upright in the impressions of the mattress. Make sure the string is touching the ruler for an accurate read on how deep the impression is. Make sure the ruler is NOT in a button depression as this will give a false reading. Once placed in the proper position, take two photos where the measurement can clearly be seen.

Step 5: Take at least two photos of the bare mattress. No pillows, sheets, or any other items on the mattress, please. These photos should clearly show where the impression is.

Step 6: Take a photo of either your original invoice or the Law Label, which is sewn into a seam at the head of the mattress.

Step 7: Email your photos to [email protected]. Please include your name, order number, date of purchase, and your preferred method of contact.

After reviewing your photos, we may follow up to request additional photos — particularly of the support system underneath your mattress and foundation. Once your claim is complete, our team will contact you with next steps.
